How to Break Out of the Getting Stuck Cycle

get_unstuckYou know how it goes…you feel stuck, you hear something that motivates you, then after a short time you’re back to stuck again and procrastinating moving forward toward your dream.

It’s a vicious cycle!

And it’s the negative self-talk that is the primary culprit that has you stuck in that cycle. You have so many ideas and aspirations but you keep getting STUCK. Starting projects and not finishing, tons of ideas but not doing anything with them…and then a new day, a new week, a new month, and then a new year….and the same result! STUCK!!!!

Until you silence that inner critic, you’re gonna keep having that same struggle — procrastination, paralyzing fear, low self-esteem and self-worth, depression and more!

The conversations go a little like…

  • There’s something wrong with me
  • I can’t do this
  • I’m so stressed out
  • I’m not good enough
  • I’m not smart enough
  • I’m not pretty enough
  • I’m not worthy enough
  • I’ve made too many mistakes
  • It’s too late to start now
  • I can’t see my way out of this

It’s that mirror talk! What you are saying to yourself!

We spend so much time worrying about what other people say to us or about us when the truth of the matter is that it doesn’t matter what other people say to you or about you. What matters MOST is the conversation you are having with yourself. What do you say to yourself when you look in the mirror?

If you’re going to get UNstuck, then you’re going to have to change that internal script that keeps repeating itself over and over and over.

The good news…

You can rewrite the script. Yes! You can reprogram your inner critic by transitioning to an inner cheerleader and change your life!

How do I know? Because I did it!

Three Simple Steps to Freedom

  1. Deal with the lingering issues from your past. Sweeping things under the rug don’t resolve them, it just causes you to trip over them.
  2. Say daily confessions to replace the negative self-talk. You have to reprogram your subconscious by purposely feeding it new information.
  3. Faith. Use your faith to propel you and solidify your success. I use scriptures that relate the area that I need to focus on and listen to them daily.

This is not magic but IT CAN BE DONE! You can turn off that negative committee in your head that’s blocking your success.
